Hundreds of people responded to calls from the PFB on Saturday 23/12/2017 to continue protesting against Trump’s decision regarding Jerusalem by gathering in Birmingham and London.

Mohammad Sawalha the chair of the Muslim British initiative said “Trump has done nothing with his resolution but move the whole world including many within the United States in solidarity with Palestine and Jerusalem”.

In his speech, the chair of the PFB Hafez Al-Karmi said “we are here to re-emphasise our opposition to Trumps decision which he has no right to make, and our role here along with our people in Palestine is to make sure this decision does not pass and that Palestine remains free and for its people from its sea to the river.

Adnan Hmidan the head of Media for the PFB reminds that “Jerusalem remains the compass of the ummah and the symbol of the unity and the proof for that can be seen among those who participated in todays protest where Arabs and non-Arabs as well as Muslims and non-Muslims stood hand in hand”.

It is very important to note that these protests in solidarity with Jerusalem and those imprisoned in Palestine have dramatically increased in frequency throughout the world but mostly after Trumps disgraceful decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem.
